Aspire One D 255 - Lenovo, LG, Samsung, MSI, and Toshiba.
"Consumers are increasingly interested in berkomputasi with netbooks," said Jason Lim, President Director of Acer Indonesia, in his testimony, August 23, 2010. "Now go to the category of netbook 'PC that desire' as a complement to the desktop and laptop PCs," he said.
Currently, according to Intel data, approximately eight million netbooks perkuartal sent to market.
"Intel hopes this figure can grow together with a large computer makers to add new models," said Erik Reid, chief marketing for Mobile Platforms Intel Corporation, on the same occasion.
In a short time, said Reid, the netbook category has been experiencing rapid growth. "Since the launch of its inaugural, April 2008 then, Intel has marketed approximately 70 million Atom chips," said Reid. "This clearly shows the market size for this device worldwide," he said.
Atom Netbook market have been using the latest dual-core Intel Atom processor N550. "With this processor, consumers can enjoy a more responsive Internet access using the same product the same compact and energy-efficient Atom N450 notebook," Reid claims.
